Vintage 1930s 40s Wool GABARDINE FARNSBY Men's WESTERN SHIRT Pleated BACK. Vintage 1930s 40s Wool GABARDINE FARNSBY Men's WESTERN SHIRT - with a fantastic Triple Pleated BACK. Vintage 1930's - 1940's!

FARNSBY Men's Wool GABARDINE BUTTON DOWN WESTERN SHIRT. Made in the USA by Henlein Company - Cincinnati - superb quality and style. This is a piece of vintage clothing history.

Nice light-medium weight wool gabardine - a beautiful fabric that feels nice and drapes well. Features include a full button up front, quarter-horse 3-button angled pocket flaps, 4 -button sleeve ends, and three stunning and three elegant pleats on back of shirt these tailors were skilled! , nice old original label, etc. All measurements taken on outside, laid flat. Chest taken under arms - 48 inches.

Shoulders - measured across the back from seam to seam - 18.5 inches. Sleeve - from shoulder seam to sleeve end - 25.5 inches. Sleeve - from collar seam at neck to sleeve ends - 32.5 inches.

Length taken from top to bottom - 35.5 inches. Bottom edge measured all the way around - 48 inches.

No holes, tears or significant wear. A small amount of wear and very light discoloration under arms - but it is not significant or visible when worn. There are three very small spots on the back that are essentially not noticeable when worn.

We think it is clean and you'll most likely find it wearable as is but with all used items you may choose to clean it. Very small "HSS" monogram on one sleeve. IF you collect western wear - H Bar C, Rockmount, Nudie's, Rodeo Ben, Pendleton, Levi's, Frontex, etc.
