RARE & OUTSTANDING OCCUPATIONAL 1/6 PLATE TINTYPE - WESTERN PHOTOGRAPHER WITH LARGE FORMAT CAMERA - Here is an extremely rare and outstanding occupational tintype for your collection. Note only are you considering a one-of-a-kind tintype portrait of a working photographer, but from all the attire he is wearing he was certainly a Western based photographer. Not only is he a cool looking dude, he wears a killer cowboy style hat, working man's trousers and cowboy boots as he stands at his large format camera balanced on his traveling tripod.

The operator is posed with his hand on the lens cap as though he was preparing to make his next exposure. I can tell you from my own experience of collecting hard plates of early American photographers for over a decade, this type of image simply doesn't come to the market very often.
