Is a Navajo Indian born in a "Hogan" on the Navajo Reservation on December 26, 1946 at White Cove, Arizona. He attended Holbrook Bordertown Indian School and graduated in 1966. Education: Indian School, Holbrook, Arizona. He attended the Institute of American Indian Art, Santa Fe, New Mexico on an art scholarship.

He later attended Los Angeles Trade Technical College in Los Angeles, California where he studied fine and commercial art. He learned traditions and ancient Navajo Legends from his great grandfather along with the "Anasazi" pictographs and petroglyphs. He has won numerous awards since 1968 for his work. He is a versatile artist, working as a jeweler, potter, sculptor and artist.
