EXC. Large 8 Blue & White CATTAIL Pitcher Western Stoneware Monmouth, Illinois

Pictured is an extra large blue & white Cattail & Dragonfly water pitcher offered for sale. The embossed pitcher has sharp, crisp detail, a 10 on a 10 scale!

The pitcher measures 8 in height & dates from 1905 - 1925. It's in excellent condition with no nicks, damage or repairs. Please view all pictures as part of the description. In the last picture it stands side-by-side with the more frequently seen small 6 7/8 height size.

Filled, the small pitcher holds 3 pints or 1 1/2 quarts. The larger pitcher holds just short of 5 pints or 2 1/2 quarts. Note: The large Cattail pitcher is incised with a "5" on the underside.
