The map is centered on the towns of Ribe (Rypen) and Tonder (Tunder). Cities, roads, political boundaries, rivers, and forested areas are well detailed. The Danish Wadden Islands and the surrounding sandbanks are also depicted.
The map is adorned with a nice title cartouche featuring fish hanging from a line and a second cartouche that attributes the cartography to Johannes Mejer. Size with margins : 59 x 50 cm / 23,2 x 19,6 inches.
