American Indian Litho Print Triptych Antique Wood Frame 26 1/4" X 11 1/2" Art. The lithos are covered in glass and have a cardboard backing held in by brad nails. This is a gorgeous piece depicting native American male Indians. The frame is made of Oak and has a carved Teepee on the left. The left picture is of a native american indian in a loincloth who has a bow in his hand and arrows on his back. The center picture is a an Indian on a rock, looking down at some settlers and wagons, and has a quiver on his back with arrows and a bow in his hand. The third picture has an Indian with a rifle sitting on a rock.
The middle one i believe the signature is "A King". It says "02" after it. I use the word triptych, although I believe a triptych is one picture divided into three. This is three separate pictures of Indian men in 1 frame. Knowles Hare, very similar to this one, but I was unable to find these pictures anywhere.
This has been in our family a very, very long time. Please note the carved Teepee on the frame has damage. It's missing a chunk of wood from the bottom left corner. The quiver with arrows is in beautiful condition, as is the bow with the arrow on the right hand side that are carved into this frame.
