1846 Large Antique Lithograph TUNNEL 2 BRISTOL Great Western Railway Bourne (6). A rare & very large original antique Lithograph titled. " TUNNEL No 2 near BRISTOL ". Taken from'The History and Description of the Great Western Railway, including its Geology and the antiquities of the District through which it Passes' John C Bourne and published by David Bogue, London.

This is taken from the 1st Edition. John Cooke Bourne (1814 - 1896) was a British draughtsman, painter and lithographer. He is best known for his lithographs recording the construction of Britain's railways in the 19th century. Based in London, he published drawings of the London & Birmingham Railway in 1838, and History and Descriptioln of the Great Western Railway in 1846, which contained images commissioned by Charles F Cheffins (1777 - 1844).

A large original antique lithograph print with later hand colouring. Overall size including margins approx 500mm x 360mm. Excellent condition with good to large margins. Which will look wonderful o.
